How it works
Answer a 2-minute check and send whatever paperwork you have. We read it and tell you what you actually own. Free.
A records demand citing the specific rules in your state, your exhibits organized, and a completed department of insurance complaint, all prepared in your name.
You sign, you mail it, you file. Your insurer answers on a regulatory clock, and the records come back as PDFs to your email.
The difference
A missing document is not an argument. It is a fact in their own file. Open each one.
Your free look period starts the day you receive the policy, not the day it was issued. No proof of delivery, no established start date.
Required to be delivered. Regulators define failure to deliver it as an omission that misrepresents the policy.
Where a policy is applied for as illustrated, your signed illustration must be in the insurer's file, every page.
If the policy was issued differently than applied for, a revised signed illustration had to ship with it.
Every time the insurer cut your cap or raised cost of insurance, a notice was required. Missing notices are documented violations.
If this replaced coverage you already had, a signed notice and a list of your existing policies were required.
In a replacement, the agent must leave every printed communication with you, and file copies with the insurer.
Each annual report must break out every charge by type: interest, cost of insurance, expenses, riders.
On request, the insurer must furnish current and future values. A duty, not a courtesy.
Policies delivered electronically leave timestamps, IP logs, and open records. We ask for those too, so 'no receipt exists' is off the table.
Real people
“I thought I had purchased a retirement plan, but it turns out I was pretty misled. You helped me get a full refund of over $23,000.”
— Tracy“The agent sold me one type of product and I wasn't aware of all the intricacies. Jonathan helped by asking the right questions, then providing documentation and evidence, and exposing the policy for what it was. They granted me a refund.”
— Ryan“They helped me get almost twenty thousand back. He gave me good clarification and more information. If anybody else needs help, please reach out.”
— F&G policyholder“Quiero expresar mi más profundo agradecimiento a Jonathan y a su equipo por ayudarnos a recuperar algo que creíamos perdido.”
— M.Real clients describing their own experience, not paid statements. Their results are theirs and are not a prediction of yours. Many policies we review do not have a viable claim, and we tell those clients so.
Who is behind this
My name is Jonathan Aguilera. Licensed since 2012, I built a national agency of more than 250 licensed agents, then resigned and surrendered my securities licenses so I could talk about cash value life insurance without anyone's permission.
I won't tell you every policy is a scam, because that isn't true and you deserve better than a slogan. What I will tell you is that the gap between how these products get sold and what the contracts actually say is wide enough that most people who own one have never had it honestly explained.
The point of this isn't to sell you the next thing. It's to show you what you already own.

The check takes about two minutes. Worst case, your policy is fine and you stop worrying about it.
